This week..
-- we had fun starting to shop/plan for Elle for Christmas. This year should be pretty magical! T is the level-headed one where K is often panicked about entertaining/exercising a toddler indoors in the winter. We (like everyone!) are still trying to figure out what Thanksgiving looks like for us. For now, we're just taking things day by day. We're still very grateful to all be healthy as so many in our area are not. Krista's work continues to be busy with patient care but also many meetings and after-hour phone calls. She's more involved in local politics and regional politics than ever (or really, then she would like to be). There were many calls from journalists to comment on our state's management of COVID. She'd rather look at the glass half-full and between writing hospital policies and advocating for new options for care, she's working to figure out fun ways to safely celebrate the holidays for her staff. We're going to have an extra long Christmas season in our house because even though we haven't decorated indoors, Elle is VERY excited about Santa Claus so we watched an animated Christmas Friday night. We may unpack the Christmas books this week but for now we're reading the Bernstein Bears and the Joy of Giving.
xo,
Krista
