This weekend..
-- ended with a lot of E and Dad time as I was working in the ER. Elle is hilarious. She has been keeping track of everyone's birthdays "Daddy's birthday over! Now pap pap! Rosie next!" She breaks out into song frequently. She found a Christmas Toy Catalog and flipped through the pages stating seriously pointing and repeatedly saying "I'ma buy that." She will often ask each of us to do tasks she doesn't want to do like "Daddy.. get my noodies?" when she doesn't want to walk across the kitchen. But now that comes with a head tilt and a cute little higher inflection - such a manipulator! She now runs around the house or playground from the "blue monster!" or "purple monster!". She'll lay out the blue throw blanket and exclaim its a swimming pool and make sure to include her babydolls in the fun. She will substitute a second word if she says something out of context and we aren't understanding - and she looks at you with her head lowered like you're the one learning a new language and she's slowing down for your benefit.
