This week..
-- Elle had her first dentist appointment! She was a big fan of the before and after but was not a fan of the actual exam. They did a fantastic job introducing her the tools and had a kid-friendly name for everything ("princess paint" was the fluoride) but, she's 2, you don't force her to do anything she doesn't want to do without some tears.
-- Elle added another animal to her vocabulary - hippo! She continues to run between our legs as we keep working on her playroom. She is still a sun-baby and could care less that it was over 90 degrees this week. She watches for friends out the window and can now escape out the front door to join them. She wanted nothing to do with her baby pool but spends hours at her water table. She has a beautiful mind and when we returned to the playground after a month or however long they've been closed, she told me all about the last time we were there with her friend Rosie. She also likes to remind us who bought her the clothes she is wearing each day. "Gigi!" "Vicki!" We're *mostly* loving this age!
