-- we made a quick trip to Omaha and upgraded one of our cars! We knew we wanted an AWD vehicle before next winter so we have been doing some research and settled on a specific make and model. We've watched the used car listings and one came available last week with all the safety/driver-assist/frivolous upgrades we were interested in - so we rearranged our schedules and made a last-minute trip to Grandma and Grandpa's! My parents were a huge help babysitting Elle while we test-drove the vehicle and did all the paperwork at the dealership. We were only away from home for 23 hours but we made the most of it! In the first hour we owned the cross-over, we made full use of the trunk changing Elle's diaper with ease and feeding her in the backseat without any bumps or bruises! It feels like such an upgrade to have a larger (but not giant!) vehicle in exchange for T's car. Now we can fit friends in our vehicle without having to remove Elle's carseat!
