This week..
-- felt like total chaos but was still fabulous. The highlights include sitting in our living room together as a family looking at the big snowflakes fall with the Christmas Tree lit and music on our new TV. It was more difficult than we expected to put up the new TV but it really is a nice compromise between art and entertainment/technology. It has a really clean mount so there is more negative space on that wall plus it doesn't have a black stripe across it from the pixels burning out!
-- Elle figured out how to get anywhere she wants! I wouldn't say she has mastered crawling- but she'll piece together army crawls, rolls, scoots, lunges, and squirms. It is so fun to watch! You can almost see the gears in her head turning as she strategizes how to get to her favorite places (the granite hearth, remotes, & presents under the tree). She also lunged for her first full glass of water while T was holding her - she sent water and ice cubes flying across the carpet. It's here! This new stage of mobile-Elle! The other night she was slow to fall asleep and we were all cuddled in bed.. T turned to her and said "there is not another, sweeter girl in the whole world" - that's this moment in time and there is nothing better!
