Peas are the first thing she's eaten (including magazine pages, church pews, etc) that she hasn't liked!
This week..
-- at work was festive with cookie exchanges, ugly sweater contests, and so many homemade treats from patients. We kept our holiday baking super simple this year with just a few candies that would keep until we celebrate our belated Christmas celebrations with family. We did try a new white chocolate raspberry truffle recipe that was luscious (we had to break up all the chocolate and peppermint with some variety!). My only regret is not making neighbor gifts (especially because there are a few we still don't know well!).
-- ended with a long stretch of call as I cover the weekend and Christmas holiday at the hospital. Elle and Dad get a lot of quality time together! I heard she was a cute distraction sitting up at the front of the church in her red frilly dress during the Christmas service today. Travis had a few to-dos (pick up the pre-ordered prime rib and turkey, grab the final vegetables from the grocery store, etc) but we did most of our holiday prep last week so he mostly gets to enjoy the one-on-one time with Elle!

xo,
Krista
