-- was my first weekend of ER call. My parents were awesome and came out to back Travis up as he was essentially a single-parent for 48 hours. We've officially survived the hours when I am the first-responder, now we just have to get through this evening when I'm still on back-up call. Thankfully, I joined a good-size group so my call shifts are few and far between. Unfortunately, Elle is now in the not awesome "stranger danger" phase. She cried with T's family, our church friends, and now my family too. Not my favorite phase! However, even if she clings to Mom and Dad, we get great pictures when Grandma is intown!
-- Mom and Elle spent a lot of time outdoors! It is really starting to feel like Fall here in Nebraska. These were my last few days before I'm back in work full-time so we made the most of them! We took any excuse to go for a walk - breakfast burritos, Redbox rentals and returns, grocery runs, etc. She is so much fun to spend time with!
