-- my sister was able to visit and meet Elle! She and her boyfriend (who we love!) flew in from Seattle and spent a day with us in Holdrege. We rented a pontoon boat at nearby lake and spent the day cruising around. The weather was perfect! Elle was a champ and tolerated her law-required life preserver haha. She even napped in it! At one point, we anchored our boat off the shore of a "beach"
(it was really just a shallow, muddy bank) and she slept on the boat while we explored the area. We spent most of the day on the lake but ended it with our favorite activity - front porch sittin'!
-- the following day we headed to Omaha for my cousin's wedding. We are completely thrilled for him and his bride! We didn't get to hang as late as we would have pre-Elle, but it was so fun to be there for their celebration. We were also able to introduce Elle to most of my family (who are as obsessed with her 3-month-chunk as much as we are!) As you can imagine - it was another 100+ picture weekend so it's going to take a while to sort through them..
