Meeting the Family (and looking forward to meeting everyone else!)

I have multiple posts in mind for the blog but I haven't had the time/energy to properly write them yet. So more to come! But Elliotte has been a dream so far and this first month has flown by. We had a busy start to her little life with feedings at least every 2 hours round-the-clock due to her jaundice (and that's 2 hours from start to start. It felt almost non-stop at times!) but life is starting to settle into a rhythm. It's amazing how much things change - even day to day! She sure has gained good weight and we continue to see glimpses of her personality with spontaneous smiles and coos. She has been blessed to meet/be held by many loved ones in these short 3+ weeks:
Dad- minutes after birth
Grandpa
Grandma
4 generations! Great-grandma, Grandma & Dad
Great-grandpa
Uncle Ryan!

We have a trip planned to Omaha in the next few weeks to meet more family - but otherwise we've been avoiding the germs of the general public and spending most of our time at home. But we haven't felt cooped up since we have a porch swing out front on the covered deck!
