HO2-- WEEK 24

Mmmmmm dinner @ A Flippin' Sweet Burger Joint
This week..
-- we went back to my new favorite restaraunt, A Flippin Sweet Burger Joint, and split a principal vernon burger and butch milkshake. What is that goodness you ask? It's a half-pound hamburger topped with smoked provolone, chorizo, sunny side up egg, siracha aioli and their house "dirty" chips. Then of course, there are amazing fresh cut fries and (our unpictured) milkshake was peanutbutter topped with roasted marshmellows. I'm seriously addicted and am constantly scheming reasons to drive to Kearney... plus, we were super responsible and split it all so I don't even feel guilty about the calories!
-- we started interviewing new potential family practice residents for Grand Island. It's fun to get to briefly meet new people - but it also forces you to reflect on your own career (which I'm convinced we don't do enough!). Our program also pays for us all to go out either for breakfast or lunch - you know I'm all about eating out! We have a couple interviews a week for the next few months so we'll see if I'm still excited about it come January..
-- should be the final time you hear me whine about our kitchen refridgerator! Our landlord replaced it this week with a brand-spankin' new one instead of reparing it again. Yay! I've been heistant to buy more than a few meals of groceries at one time because we've had some many spoil- but that's encouarged a very lazy cooking schedule => minimal cooking & too much fast food. Although it was utterly disgusting to uncover the tile under our old fridge (ewww, rentals!) things are great now!

xo,
Krista
