Clearly I took this on a previous rotation at Children's when the weather was much warmer... |
This week..
-- I started my month at Children's Hospital! My schedule is similar to other hospital rotations (about 6am to 6-7pm). When I'm not working nights/weekends, you'll find me taking care of the 6th floor (hematology/oncology patients and preteens-teens!). I'm stoked about my floor assignment because it's one I haven't worked on before and very applicable to Family Medicine!-- T was a champ and cooked dinner for us each night! We switch into a "survival" mode of sorts when I'm waking up at 4am. He's the best! We treated ourselves to carryout pizza Saturday night which was a total treat!
-- I caught "project fever". When we first moved into our townhouse I was obsessed with redesigning every inch of our place. Now, my free time is spent dreaming about our next place! I have a perfect kitchen renovation already designed. I went to an open house this weekend to the home we've had our eye on in Grand Island. Unfortunately, they keep dropping the price so other people are catching on! It's pretty darn ugly but has perfect "bones". Ideally we would purchase it in a few months so we can renovate the kitchen + floors before we move in. Cross your fingers it all falls into place!

Krista
