HOI-- WEEK 23

This week I...
-- was able to spend an evening in Lincoln with my mom and brother and share a delicious meal! I seriously have the best family and cherish any chance to hang with them.
-- started my "behavioral medicine" rotation which is a month of something new everyday! This week I spent an afternoon with a hospice chaplain, an afternoon with a child psychologist, a morning in adult psychiatry clinic, and an afternoon in the chronic pain management program. Of course I also had my own clinic two half-days each week!  This month is all about exposure to the supportive professionals we can direct patients towards for their mental/emotional > physical ailments.
-- loved being home in the evenings with T. He is so understanding and supportive of my insane schedule that it felt super nice to work "normal" hours for once.
-- totally binged watched this season of The Voice while doing chores around my house. I can't help it.. I'm a total music-reality-show junkie!
-- am in the process of registering for my third (and final!) part of receiving my medical license! Yay! It is not my final big (= expensive) test but I'm getting close to finished!

xo,
Krista
