M3-- WEEK FIFTEEN

So it's after 2300 and I'm just sitting down to write about this week.. unfortunately, this will be short one folks!

First, I had an amazing weekend back home! I cooked and cleaned and worked out.. all the things I haven't been doing since I've been away. And when T wasn't at work, I hung all over him every second I could. Friday night flew by so fast that we ended up eating cereal for dinner. But Saturday, in honor of T's 25th bday, we had ribs + baked potatoes + green beans + raspberry bars. Making raspberry bars brought back a lot of memories from high school when I would bake T a raspberry dessert for after each football game! After dinner we saw the movie Gravity (which I highly recommend) with mis padres. Then, after church Sunday we had dinner with my family to celebrate my dad and T's birthdays. T is now a quarter-of-a-century. What an old man! ;)

If you ask T, he will tell you (and he's 100% correct) that every other second of the weekend was spent discussing our future. We are getting close to the point of big decisions in our household.. and on my end of things i am so torn. I'm not going to start typing about it today because I have a ridiculous amount to complete this week so I need to get to bed.. but I've been blabbing to anyone that will listen how I don't know how I am ever going to decide whether to specialize in family medicine (doing primarily OB and peds) or pediatrics. I know that I could absolutely love either speciality.. which almost makes the decision harder! The most difficult part of this decision to me is that it decides where we would live geographically. And sometimes the geography isn't conducive to a job for T! It is so, so fun to have these decisions to make.. it's just a little stressful for a type-A planner like myself ;)

I hope you all enjoy your week and this beautiful fall weather!

xo,
Krista

PS- T is totally lucky that I ran out of time tonight because in honor of his birthday I was planning on a long, gushy post about how completely incredible he is. He really is the best! Our life is so much better than I could even dream it to be :)
