This past week was fairly routine: school for me and work for T. (I also took zero pictures, so excuse the substituted, non-personal ones on this post. I keep telling myself if I splurged on a SLR camera I would take more pictures... its all excuses...)
Friday night we went to dinner with two other couples (I study everyday with the two girls). We went to the Old Market for dinner at Roja and then walked around enjoying the beautiful weather.
As for a school update, we have continued to learn about structures in the abdomen. We had a neat demonstration by a surgeon who showed us (on a cadaver) how he would preform a Whipple procedure (commonly used for patients with pancreatic cancer). Although I am not very interested in being a surgeon, it is motivating to see how the content we are learning is absolutely relevant to different specialties.
Although this week was routine, we have some fun plans coming up! Can you guess what time of year it is? It's this goof's birthday! Travis will be 23 this week!
Not only that, he will also graduate on the 17th! He tells me he doesn't read the blog, so in celebration of him, here is a set of completely irrelevant and unrelated, hopefully some-what embarrassing pictures:
We are also looking forward to the Omaha Nighthawk game this Saturday to celebrate my dad's birthday. (I won't spill how old he is turning...)
I hope everyone has a fabulous week! Love ya'll!
